New Alliance Pak-Turkey-Iran-China-Russia
Due to tensions between the US & China, it seems like a new cold war has been started. Pakistan-Turkey-Iran tension with KSA. Russia & China are increasing ties with Turkey, Pakistan, and Iran. Is this a hint of a new alliance?
Pakistan and KSA have been in a very promising relationship but like you know KSA has dictatorship in the shape of kingship. Saudia’s rulers consider themselves as an unannounced caliph and due to this Turkey and KSA never maintain good relations. Jamal Khashoggi’s murder highlighted a lot and one of the main reasons was Turkey because under Erdogan’s rule Turkey will never consider KSA as Caliphate. If Khashoggi’s murder happened in Islamabad instead of Istanbul it couldn’t get the hype due to Saudi influence in Pakistan. But now Saudia and Pakistan are losing each other due to recent events. Indian media tried to give the impression like this rift between two Islamic powers happens due to Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir but in reality, this happens due to Pakistan’s distinguished relationship with Turkey and China. Pakistan’s national television broadcasting Turkish super hit series “Ertugrul” another reason for this averse behavior from KSA because Saudia doesn’t want that as many Arab countries already ban Ertugrul. But Saudia needs to understand that in Pakistan, Turkey and China have the unconditional support of people more than KSA.
Iran and Russia have a deep relationship with India. And India is the biggest importer of arms from Russia so I think Russia will not put his arms deals in danger but China also has its influence now on Russia. It’s really very complicated. And Pakistan needs to progress now quickly otherwise look at India and all the money they have now with its big economy. India is now nearly to sign a deal with the US. Pakistan should sign the same level deals with China but for that, we need our own earned money, not the money which we take as a loan from different platforms. Time to take quick but well-planned steps. We should learn from India, China, Bangladesh, Vietnam. Pakistan needs an authoritarian government for bold and brave steps just like China, Russia, and Turkey.
We have to manage our media and stop relying on the US camp (Saudia and UAE) gradually build your own lobby in the US and start investing wisely, in agriculture and attract foreign companies to invest in Pakistan. More than 1000 companies recently pulled out of China and no company came to Pakistan. All these companies are now investing in Vietnam and Bangladesh and a few in India as well. But we didn’t approach any company for investment in Pakistan because we have a fear this will affect Pak-China friendship. We should only consider national interest as a priority and consider other things after that.
It looks like sooner or later such a type of block will be found with the support of China between these countries but the question is will Russia be part of this group or not.
